Does GPS tracking work everywhere in Sri Lanka?
Yes. Our trackers use GPS satellites for location and the mobile network to send data, so they work island-wide wherever there is mobile coverage. If a vehicle briefly goes out of coverage, supported devices store the data and upload it once back online.
Can I track my vehicle from my mobile phone?
Yes. Log in at track.ceylongps.lk from any phone, tablet or computer to see live location, trip history, alerts and reports.
Can I stop my vehicle remotely if it is stolen?
Yes, with a device that supports engine cut-off (immobiliser) and professional installation. For safety, cut-off is designed to be used when the vehicle is stopped or moving slowly.
Will a GPS tracker drain my vehicle battery?
No. Our devices draw very little power and go into low-power mode when the vehicle is parked, so normal daily use will not drain a healthy battery.
Who installs the GPS tracker?
Installation is done by the Ceylon GPS team or one of our trained authorised resellers — vehicle parts shops, car audio shops, detailers and service centres across Sri Lanka.
